I've been working on the railroad. Well technically alongside the railroad. But it was all the live-long day. Though there are times when I had to pass the time away, like when trains come rumbling down the tracks. Whistles were blowing but Dinah never once showed up with a home-cooked meal from the kitchen because she was too busy taking banjo lessons.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Beautiful work Wendell and a photo that the Canadian National Railway Company would enjoy. Love your creative and humorous narrative too. Faved.

Right into my favs, brilliant composition and angle with outstanding post work. I remember my brother & poppa's train set which was huge and they had some engines that looked like that but of course not CN logo on it.
