Some of you may be aware of the recent Nor'easter that struck the east coast. In advance of the storm I and several other fellows were put on call to deal with any situations that may arise from the high winds and heavy snow/ice load. We ended up being sent out of town and spent two days stuck in a hotel during the blizzard. On the upside I didn't have to work, but you can only walk the halls for so long before you go a little stir-crazy.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

At least you got a perfect shot for the contest, Wendell.
I am guessing you were the "hall monitor."

Looks like one of the hallways from a scary movie...perhaps "The Shinning." I know what I'm doing the next time I can't sleep in a hotel. Super shot for the contest, Wendell.

I heard you have been having it bad in your neck of the woods it was on UK news, don't envy you stuck away from your home comforts my good friend. As for the photo it as lovely depth of field and I love the low light in this capture too.Plus great angle you took the shoot from and the purple light at the end of the corridor adds a nice feel to this capture as well.

Your time stuck at the hotel did payoff in the form of a really cool image - vanishing lines in the hallway. I see many lines in this shot. Really like the lighting and the ambient effect. Excellent shot Wendell - great entry for the contest!!!
