Now I do not rightly know if stray cats count as pets, but here is where this one ended up. This particular stray decided the other day to take up residence on one of the benches out in the shade of the yard. Good thing for it that it was not my favorite bench or there may have been some eviction papers being served. And good luck trying to get them notarized late on a Friday afternoon.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

What a good looking feline, I think I see some fight wounds on it's nose. I'm glad you did not serve eviction papers, and used the camera instead. :) tigs=^..^=

He/She looks quite at home and contended there. The problem is that he/she can become a regular visitor.

It looks comfortable but I would still be tempted to put a pillow under it. Excellent shot of the kitty, Wendell.

OK, sometimes a photo is magnificent because of the subject matter, or the composition, or the colors, or the textures, or the details. Well, in this photo, you have captured everything perfectly. Sensational photo, you immediately get a positive feeling in viewing this kitty and it's a true gift for us. Bravo! Favorite.

Apart from the fact that the kitty is adorable and looks like he's used up a few of his nine lives, the colors and composition on this are just wonderful! S&F

I don't know if he could be a contest entry since he squeezed into that little space, but I'd like to see him there! Big kitty in a little space!

Beauty of a cat, Wendell. Isn't it funny how many photos we shoot of cats with their eyes closed, but if we shoot one of a human with their eyes closed, it is considered a photo for deletion?

That cat is doing what cats do so well and you captured a marvelous image - the cat is beautiful and perhaps dreaming of all the mice he'll be catching - So cute - Well Done!!!!!!!

He looks very at home and feeling safe. Poor old thing a bit the worse for wear round the nose area.
You got a great capture - nice one and I hope he visits again.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
