Yesterday, which is to say Saturday; and not some future yesterday that could turn out to be a Wednesday for example from the perspective of someone viewing this image some day down the road; a whole lot of people showed up at the park with their motorcycles. I mean a lot of motorcycles. Not just a bunch of people and a few motorcycles for them all to admire. That would just be called a Saturday afternoon down at the park. There were something in the neighbourhood of 1,500 motorcycles there that day. Did I mention they were lined up like dominoes and how hard it was to resist knocking one over to see if the rest would fall. But resist I did. They were there for an annual event called the blessing of the bikes. So I guess you could call this shot a religious experience. Note to self, bring ear plugs next year. You don't want to be anywhere near 1,500 bikes when they all start up simultaneously.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Nicely looking bike and an enjoyable read, Wendell. I doubt any Hell's Angels members were there for the blessing.

The shine is almost blinding. What a beautiful bike! Nice capture Wendell. One has to accept your story with a pinch of salt I guess - or a pound of salt?

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Everything appears peaceful, Wendell. I like Blue, and had one that colour back in the 1970's, but not quite as fancy as this. Nice composition, Wendell.
