I just had a deja vu moment. :) This is a great entry and will be difficult to beat. Good luck!! I really like the editing. The D7000 is quite the camera. What lens do you have?
Thanks Tick, the D7000 is a handful of photographic machinery capable of many things. I mainly use it for picture taking, lol. My lens assortment is the 18-55 and 55-200 along with the 18-105 I borrowed from my oldest son that defected over to the Canon side, ha! It's got a nasty little chip on the surface of the glass that has very little impact on images unless it's in direct sunlight. I shot this acorn thing with the 200, tripod mounted.
I just love this shot. I have come back to it 3 times this morning and finally decided to comment. The way you have composed this is just wonderful and i love the subtle sepia tone. It is such a delicate thing suspended there. Cant give you enough praise for this!

Like agent SAT, oops SOT, I also had a deja vu sensation. As a child I had to place a bean or a pea or even a horse chestnut on a cloth, put in the jar of water - exactly like you show. And then we used to get marks for the bigger and better looking plants. Every year the same procedure throughout the primary school [8 years]. Would you believe it ?!!! LOL How many lost beans, peas and horse chestnuts trees. Great post. You can count on at least one vote from me LOL which is unfair since agent SAAB does not leave my side - why cannot he vote? LOL SAM & SAAB
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
