Beautiful Capture and Post.

One nearly hit my windshield the other day as I was crossing a bridge. They nest here every October and generally leave here at the beginning of April. Where they go NO one knows for sure. Some Biologist say Yellowstone.

Only Alaska Has more breeding pairs of Eagles than Louisiana. Just the area where I live there are over 150 mating pair within 100 Square Mile area. I know because I worked for the State Dept. of Wildlife an Fisheries for over 20 years.

This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience

A very good capture of this majestic bird of prey. We have some around here, but never had the chance for a shot with the camera.

Elm tree makes a wonderful background for this majestic bird...
Beauty of an image, dear Holly.
In Poland [BTW eagle is Polish national emblem sign = bird wearing the golden crown] we only have some eagles in the south unless I am wrong. Being short-sighted all my life [and not wearing glasses !] made me stick to sparrows whom I do know and who never surprise me :)

The only eagles I've seen here are in the zoo. Great looking shot of this one in the wild!
