Chicopee is the town I grew up in located in western MA. It is the name of a native american tribe that used to live there. This is dedicated to their memory. Comments welcome
I'm guessing that this is a fractal you've extracted and placed over the background fractal? I may be wrong of course? Anyway, it's a very good, if somewhat spooky, image. Vary cool and faved.
Right. A fractal (dream catcher) over a second fractal to give it a 'wind' feel. There is also a duplicate of the dream catcher with just a slight bevel on it and a transparency of 18% or so. There is also the subtle drop shadow. -mike-

I need to send you a PM with some questions, when you get some time I would be greatly appreciative on how you do your masking.
That aside ... yeah, this is quite good. And quite sophisticated as well.
I don't think that I could let alone pull this of any wheres' near as well as you have. And here I am talking about the overall compo in addition to having seen the piece in your minds' eye.
Apt title for a most fitting and beautiful flame.
Simulated wind currents with the background flame? Was conjured up in my mind immediately upon viewing.
As a suggestion ... and then as always with the program itself; referring to moving the transforms about ... you might want to look at the "pattern" script.
A repeating layer of your main flame in a grid-like pattern could be an option to explore. Just a thought.
