Just a few miles down the road from where I live is a city called Danville. Danville is just southwest of and is basically the foothills to Mt. Diablo. I was working down there recently and took this picture out the back window of this home just after it stopped raining. 'Fixed' 'er up a bit in Paint.net and Photoscape and here it is for you:):) This will be my entry in the "Where I live contest". Hope you like:):)

A beautiful view ... I love how the homes are built in, around, & on top of the hillside. The shades of green are gorgeous & I can only imagine this city being surrounded by beauty all year long. Excellent entry Bruce ... best of luck.

Yuppp! We have houses that big here in Portland too! Altho we have more Evergreens and you have more Palm trees...where are they here anyway?? Don't see any....Wow. This photo is so typical of Callie...beautiful tho.Nice hillsides. Let's all just keep hoping there will be no mud slides eh? Of course, we have more rain than you...but YOU have more earthquakes...I keep wondering where all the driveways are hiding. .but you did great with this photo. Good wishes in the contest for you hun....
