Well, this is only the second image I have ever created blending a real photo with a fractal/abstract image. I made the "butterfly" like image with Chaoscope and Paint.Net and then borrowed the mountain scene from http://www.sxc.hu/photo/1269227. All comments, critiques and suggestions welcome...........I think:):)

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Wow Bruce, how very clever!! I can't imagine being able to do this. But I sure like how the combination brought about a totally different and unique feeling! It's one of those things a person can sit and 'stare' at for a long time. I love the field of butterflies pattern, and then the huge one at the front! It's like modern art and reality all combined! Really interesting. The colours are just pure magical! This is truly a work of art! I love the whole thing!! Verena

Wow Bruce this is really different - just me but I like the fractal part and not so much the background - but I like your creativity and it made me think!

If I ever see a butterfly like that around here, I am packin' and headed North. Or South....wherever they don't exist. Gorgeous work though...you have a great imagination as this creation plainly shows.
