Bruce, if the pier-visitors didn't wear nowadays clothes, this image could have been taken in the twenties of the past century.

Well done.

Regards, Cornelius.

One of the images that appeal to me like few others... [also in your gallery as I am much ashamed to admit that I am not capable of appreciating too much any fractal art - too simple minded secret agent I am ... like 007, if you know what I mean...? LOL]
Winner very soon in BWC, please only remember to notify LE about it asap!!!

Who among us can walk in places like this and not try to imagine how it was like 100 years ago? Love the presentation in Sepia. Thanks!

Lots going on here and it has a real timeless look to it. Sepia was an excellent choice.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Well I can't dock you any points for this great post Bruce. I hope you didn't take any long walks off this short pier. :)

A good angle capturing the busy marketplace. Nice colour tones and textures in the image.

This is an amazing photo in many senses, So much to take in with appealing sepia tones gives it that ol' time appearance. Hey...is that a kid playing a game on an IPad? Bravo!
