I managed to squeeze out one picture for you of my vacation. This is on the shores of Duck Lake about 30 miles northeast of Arnold, California. It has seen better days:)
Seen its better days is quite the understatement BB. Reminds me of the Lincoln Logs I had as a youngun'. It will eventually rot away and only the tin will remain. I agree that our current society reflects this photo.
Bruce, I think it will need 'some' (please notice the quotation marks) maintenance. In my small overcrowded country, the owner would be tracked down and summoned (under a high fine) to clean up the mess. In the United States, the need for this is apparently not present, or this mess has not (yet) been noticed from the official side. Anyway, it used to be an asset to the landscape. Now the opposite is the case, Buddy!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Terrific country side to spend a few days too!...
