Here is the picture of our destination of my hike last weekend-Blue Lake. Not necessarily a superb image like you would get from a high quality camera but good enough to share. It took 3 hours to get there and 2.5 to get back. All 2.5 hours hiking back it rained, thundered and lots of lightning...but did not rain to hard but I was soaked when I got back to the car. Length 6.2 miles; Elevation gain 1,476 ft; Out & Back. It was worth it but I'm not going back....to hard;):)):)

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Such a scenic spot, and it turned out so well. I would have been worried about that lightning! tigs=^..^=

Sounds like a fantastic place for hiking, wonderful scene. You have captured this beautifully ... we've hiked a mountain with thunder and lightening, and the guide actually told us ... don't get close to the trees!
