So I came across this a few weeks back while near the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos,Ca. Here's the link to an article about his life. So cool:):) Dobson
Bruce, by checking-out your link, I've read: "When his fellow Tiger pilot, Al Silver, had a dream to bring a 747 cockpit as an exhibit to the Hiller Museum, he joined him in making the dream come true. It exists today to educate and give a real life thrill to many budding pilots." I've read too that 'Dobbie' has passed away on June, 16th 2015. Although it's almost 6 years ago, I hope that chief pilot John Raymond Dobson had a 'good flight' to eternity. Very good and interesting capture, Buddy!

I used to live in Redwood City, right next door to San Carlos I moved out here In 1982, and see that the musuem did not exist back then. Very nice post, and I found the link very informative, he was pretty darn special in my book. Tigs=^..^=
