A key question is what does it do? Since the observer is involved and the reference alludes to a character engrossed in a riddle of consciousness, there may be a paradox in its architecture...or is it material at all?
Bruce, I prefer visually enjoying your render rather than philosophizing about it. It's shape and design is very worthwhile doing so. Perfect creation again, Buddy!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

Sometimes when I am in waiting rooms, bored to death and hoping to burn some time, I find myself counting ceiling or floor tiles, seats empty and filled, fluorescent lights (in rooms the size of a Walmart), and other oddities. It is an indicator of my marginal OCD [;o] That being the case, I am afraid that some poor shlub, afflicted with full-on OCD, might feel their head explode while trying to count all the dots in this abstract of ours, Bruce. Initially, visions of punched-tin Christmas ornaments that I used to make came to my mind, then, packed alien pea pods, and then, uh-oh, wait, wait, 1, 2, 3, 4, 58, 207, 11,686, oh, God! It^s, it^s, full of stars!
-nik (for an additional 10,000 points, name that movie reference)
