Congratualtions on a this fantastic deck. But also, for the photographer, the light is superb, the clarity and detail enlighten this capture beautifully.
Wow lovely sharp photography and stunning composition along with great colours too. What a beautiful looking place this is nd you did it justice with this capture.
That Don is a real talented person. I love the artistic expression in his work. Thanks for sharing Gigi. You captured just enough to make me wonder about the rest of it.
Except for sanding that mill stamp(?) off the 2x4 at the bottom, terrific woodworking on your husband's(?) part. I've been a woodworker for 40+ years and know what it takes to craft a piece of art like this. Functional and unique... it doesn't get much better. Plus, I bet there's been plenty of toasty evenings around that raised metal firepit. In front of the firepit I'm seeing what looks like a ramp descending to the left? And some exposed soil down there? Does that lead to something special? I'm looking forward to the day you get yourself a fisheye lens and we get to see the whole deck. I'm going to fav it so my wife has another great example for the year I build ours. Thanks. -Nik
