Gisele, I've read this on the net: "This bronze Maine moose statue graces the entrance from U.S. Route 1 to the new Port of Entry in Van Buren. The statue features official and unofficial symbols that represent the state of Maine, such as a coon cat resting on its back, chickadees on its antlers, a can of Moxie
and a jumping landlocked salmon, among others."

Very interesting and good image.
