Some of you might remember me posting some images of little Highlanders that live across my street. Well they have grown and now have little ones of their own.
Please feel free to comment.
Very pleasant scene, as shown. These are certainly fine beasts, and lovely to look at.
That being said, perhaps some cropping might not have been a bad idea, to focus more on the subject matter.
Could you have cropped out the power line tower in the upper right, and the car in the lower left?
Without those man-made items in the shot, might lend a more natural feel to this. What do you think?
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
See that the big curtain is opened again (the fog has disappeared lol), showing us a surprising, wonderful and cute scene.
Like to say that you have a great view from where you live. Read Rob's comment. I don't prefer cloning out things as well. Prefer to see how it's in real.
Thanks for this very fine post Gabrielle.
Yeh, I remember those Shih Tzu Cows . LOL.
That's what they remind me of with the Hair in their Face.
Beautiful Animals.
I Bet they are very gentle as well.
Thanks for sharing.
What a wonderful view you have from your door Gabrielle. The cows look fantastic, as someone above says , almost pre-historic. Altogether it's a beautiful scene. In the great power-line and pylon debate I'm for leaving them in. I actually like electricity pylons and the wires. I think they add scale and grandeur to a scene.

The truth is, you really should see My Gallery.
They lOOk harmless enough, perhaps a closer shot to get rid of the car and washed out backdrop?? I like these lil fellas 'cause they're soooo cuddly and I wanna squeeze the poop out of'em!! Well, maybe not the later...but I still think they're cute!!
yeah...I recognize those trees from yesterdays picture. The highlanders, for the most part, were hiding in the fog I guess. LOL. That's pretty neat that you get to watch them whenever you want. They are an interesting looking animal. Nice shot, Gabrielle.
I've been on the lookout for some of these to photograph myself but haven't come across any yet. These look content grazing in the field dont they. I agree with Randy on the car and the closer focus but maybe not the squeezing bit. Ewww. Nice work Gaby.
Well Gabrielle, to be honest, I don't have such great memories of those highlanders since my last encounter with a herd in woods. A group of 6 animals attacked me and swear I had to run for my life!
On the other hand, that made me regard them as being true "wild" animals and so I can say that I appreciate your photo even more then I would have done before my "wildlife" experience!
