In many cities there are landmarks. Paris has the Eiffel tower, London, Big Ben and here in Tampa we have the Recyclosaurus. This is a sculpture that is front of the Museum of science and industry, MOSI. This landmark is looked upon fondly by many and after each tropical storm or hurricane that passes by, it is one of the first things we check on afterwards. They recently moved it toward the back some, but if you look, you can still see it, although it is not as prominent as it used to be. There used to be thousands of empty soda bottles and cans in its stomach, and flood lights for eyes when it was night. I hope and pray all is well as can be expected with everyone and please know you have been in my thoughts. Take care.

It has become a cult hero.
Wonderful shot to help preserve this icon.
Take care and stay safe.

Alex, this is a very inventive way for recycling empty soda bottles. Hope therefore that Mr. or Mrs. Recyclosaurus is permanently starving, 😜 !
Good capture. Would be a perfect entry for the photojournalism gallery!

I would think he needs a whole family to tackle all the recycling needs in the world. That is a very imaginative sculpture. Good image, Alex.
