The middle is slightly congested and is probably the only 'weak' area of illustration. I really like the progression of the idea portrayed that is inferred by the title. The precise image of the drafting equipment is seamlessly introduced into the image and works to convey the 'story,'
The emergence of the creature does suggest movement. It's the middle. Colours work well in the overall progression, but, perhaps here, a little too dark? The images are hard to discern, but more so ... too many, I think.
The style of the font fits perfectly. Thanks for opening up a new area, I had forgotten about, illustration. Editorially, this is strong image. Look forward to more.
Hmm. Maybe, but no grid. :-) I would definately agree with you if it had a little more depth.
Either way, I love it. Awesome in every since of the word. It has just the right amount of color, and the text in no way degreades the image. Maybe it is Cain yet... :-D
My first thought is that this is an image by Cain... If it's not by Cain, it's someone trying to be... :o) It's dark.. things going on all over.. use of text... This image just has that feel.. :o)
