I like the angle of this one and the textures captured in the roots. The sky is kind of washed out, I;m guessing you were facing the sun.

The thing I like most about this image is the interesting root patterns. I wish the tops of the foreground trees were in view.

It's a nice shot. I suggest to filter out with color efex in order to enhance the foreground.

I have to agree with everyone else's comments. But one thing that I would add is that it really is a good shot overall. I too can see that scene from LOTR. *And in the movie you didn't see the tops of the trees either.)
