Randy, I prefer the one on black more than this one. Have the feeling that the colours of the other one are more beautiful although they are in practice the same. Think you gave us a good example how our eyes can be mislead to a certain extend, while we're supposing that what we see is always objective, lol.
Thanks for both wonderful posts.

Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
I like this colorful scribble, I prefer the lighter version better but might I sugggest an off white so the background isn’t as harsh on the eyes when using it as a wallpaper. I have on my desktop now.
I'll comment on this one but I like the black one more.. this white detracts somewhat from your colors..nice scribbles Randy, would ya like to look at some inkspots now? lol..
Sheesh, now I'm commenting on "Scribbles". If they weren't so darn colorful, attractive and well done ( Can scribbles be well done ? ) I'd be doing something more important ... taking a nap comes to mind. Getting back to business, I think the white background is better solely because the black appears to hide and/or mask the very fine tips at the outside edges of your scribble. Of course that may be these old eyes playing tricks on me ... better rest them ... *yawn* NAP TIME ;o)
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
