Awesome capture.
The composition is great, normally I don't like people on a photo... but with this one, it's only looking much better.. A really add-on.
Great work.
This is a first for me for the reasons Simon has mentioned and the fact that it shows so closely all the design in the tower too. I'm very glad you posted this.
This looks like it was taken in the afternoon at le Trocadero looking through the Tower at the Ecole Militaire. Now I know that the Trocadero is at least a half-mile from the Ecole Militaire and about a quarter mile from the tower, so you must have the zoom lens from heck.
The composition is interesting, because you are using a much more well known landmark to simply frame another thing that isnt as well known....or at least I dont know what that building is off the top of my head.... Its way cool. I like the crowd. This photo really does show off the size of the eiffel tower without showing the whole thing. I think most people can see that much of it and know what it is anyway. Good work!
This goes to show the colosal amount of material used to contruct the eifel tower. Ok im gonna make up a word that covers what i just said. "Strutaliskafukkabig"
very good, my only complaint would be that it isnt quite centred, having more sky space on the right. its a great frame, but it would be even better if it were centred, and you didnt see the skyscrapers through on the right. walking another 5-10 yards to your left would have made this perfectly centred, but you probably couldnt do it, and i love it anyways
Wow! I've seen lots of photos of the Eiffel Tower, but never have I seen anything that's given me the perspective this one does....I had no idea it was so huuuugggeeee! Thanks!
