Hi John. this image is positively awesome! My favorite color is pink, but beyond that, it's clarity, especially that of the first two major roses is remarkable! What a fine job you did and I commend you for your work! The sentiments are very touching and I am sure she appreciated them immensely! If this is your first post, I predict a marvelous future in photography for you! Sincerely, Marilyn

I'm not a big flower enthusiast, but this is a great photo! Just the right amount of everything here. I really like the water droplets on the rose pedals. Nice job!

Not only are the two main roses well in focus and the center of attention here, the bud capture is also an added plus. The background colors are wonderful and I appreciate the lighting and contrasts with the rich greens. All healthy and all lovely. I'm very impressed with this first post. I will save this and use it. Welcome to the site.

What a wonderful garden your wife has to showcase this lovely specimen. It's an exquisite capture - rich color, sharp as a tack. The composition with the non-contrasting blooms behind works well because of their softness and the dew drops (or added water?) really draw attention to the main subjects. Your timing in shooting with the two blooms and the sweet little bud in tow is just great. Gave it a 10. Blessings, anne
