Hey Jan,
I have to agree with Blumie, this is the better one of those two,
If just for the tree, I prefer this scene above other sunset images,

Thanks a lot for sharing

excellent capture, the silhouette of the tree is great against that beautiful sunset. The sun itself is even visible, outline and all. Very nice!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

hmmm...I thought I had commented on this one earlier, but perhaps I had just seen it in the voting booth? Well, at any rate it's in my sunshots fave folder, and I am just delighted to see the silhouette *or should I saw Walter* against that gorgeous sky.

Wow, great composition and colors.
The tree is a bit noise on my screen, may be a little softer would improve that, but it's hard to say.
Anyway, a treat to the eyes!
