Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

The clouds look inviting to me Dimps. The bushes act like the welcoming committee. Has a definite 3-D effect. Some people have a cloud that follows them. Maybe Sir Shrek is one of those. lol

Nice post.

That's a great setup for a symmetrical comp Jan, just ripper. I've been researching lens' for an upcoming upgrade to a dslr and reading all those lens reviews has made me newly aware of the possible difference between edge and centre sharpness, so this shot is the first time I noticed it.

Great shot Jan - the sky works and the wide angle's given a great perspective. Especially like the shapes, angles and lines of the 'maze' on the lawns.

Hello Jan....Hello Jan...This is your summer home, right?...Great shot. Love the leading lines. I'm drawn straight into the house. The greens add a lot to the overall shot to balance some vibrance with some dull colours. Well balanced, well composed.....All the best....Mick.
