Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

I know I faved the first post, but have to say I like this one much better. The blurred body definitely brings out the details on the tigers head & those grey green eyes almost have a somber look to them. Beautifully captured Jan. Faves ... again.

So great photo Jan! Those eyes are hard not to love when your a cat lover like me. For some reason he reminds me of my cat Handsome, my guess is that it i that look in the eyes :-) As I said before, I wouldn´t pet this one thoug! Excellent work!
