Taken in "sunny" Brisbane Queensland Australia, we have a lot of old buildings which are now surrounded by modern high rises.. Enjoy

These types of pictures always get me in the mood for a trip to a museum or someplace where I can view how people used to live before that too is consumed by modern man!

EDIT: Your composition is unique and intriguing.

What a great shot Jacqueline ! I love that old building snugged up against the newer ones. A sort of Old World elegance meeting New World efficiency. Love it ! *hug*

I recognise that AMP building - have a 'snap' of it somehwere - one of those old ones taken with film lol

I think the contrast of old and new is beautifully captured here, and the reflections in the glass give added oomph.
Nice work J - good luck !

I wonder why nobody found the reference to "Monty Python's" film - a part of it - where this old building becomes a sailing vessel ... I mean I might be a little silly about Monty Pythons LOL This image is most charming with and without any references !!! LOL
