This shot was taken from the windy roof of the Banff Springs Hotel, looking towards the ubiquitous Mount Norquay, that looms over the town of Banff. It is an unusual vantage point, as the hotel is quite spectacular in its own right. (www.fairmont.com/banffsprings)

Great shot! The bright crisp colors of the flag work well against that stunning background of an imposing mountain. Just wonderful!

I love it! Not only do I have a small collection of US flags, but I have several pictures of the Canadian flag as well. I've been to Canada many times...both in the Western and Eastern parts (but not in the middle). It is a beautiful country and the people are great.
