This was either my second or third photograph taken underwater. The outcropping of rocks was some 30 feet below the surface, at Santa Cruz Island in Southern California. Most importantly, the two creatures here (plus a swirling of eggs) are Spanish Shawls, exposed-gill sea slugs, more technically called nudibranchs.

Very nice. The brilliant colors of the sea slug really grab your focus and the supporting cast of characters complete the picture.
