I couldn't find an appropriate category for this guy. I don't want to assume manipulation because to me that's messing with photoshop rather than 'on-site'. Anyway, this photo was taken at an emergency helicopter center in Austin, Texas. It's a new place so the security is not established which let me 'sneak' in and play around a little. I'd LOVE to get some HONEST comments on this. I have SEVERAL variations of this, but this had the most color.

I like the color, and I'd love to know how you got the spectrum effect on the rays (or how you managed the rays, for that matter).

Where's the building, btw? I thought that most of the STARFlight-type helos worked out of Brackenridge or Seton?

I love the spectrum you have captured with your "zoom out" technique I read about in the forum. I also enjoy the colors of the tower, I couldn't think of a better spot to try this effect. Great capture Jason!

I just re-watched 2001; some scenes are reminiscent of this.
Interesting work.

The image is interesting. I think it's a little too distracting for a wallpaper. But as a picture, it's nice.

Great colours. For some reason, I personally had a hard time adjusting myself to the orientation at first.
