Another shot from the Brickworks. This is down one of the hallways of ovens. that is all that it is on bothsides so im imagining it would be a very warm area when this was operational.

very interesting composition Jeff. i think the tonal range and balance is very good but as a personal preference I would have opened up the aperture a little more to allow some more detail into the background areas - not bringing it into clear focus or anything like that but maybe half way there. a great addition to your series all the same.
I love this long view down the pipe to the murky end of the passage. There's something unsettling in the atmosphere of this shot. It makes me think of some of the industrial backdrops that Graeme uses.
It has an emotional, gritty feel to it. Makes me think of a mystery novel, or a suspense thriller, maybe a look at the dungeon of a forgotten castle, or the back alley of a shady joint, or the basement of a dingy aparment building or hospital.
The whole thing is very mysterious and enigmatic. Makes me wonder what is farther down the alley/hallway/deeper into the basement. I like it alot, and gave it a ten. The fact that the background is blurry adds to the mystery and desire to explore the scene.
