If it wasn't for the little bit of life in the shrubs at the ground it would be really unsettling. Reminds me of a place I saw that was fire stripped. Very strong photo.

Powerful. Striking. Stark. Wow. It seems neither creepy nor serene. I agree with dreamer100 -- the underbrush saves it from being brutal. Verges on desolate. Definitely a favorite.
