...Later this year, it will be the 50th anniversary of this mysterious incident, and I'll probably post something then, just like I did almost a decade ago... I just thought I'd make reference to the shipwreck through this series...

Tigs: I was living in the Detroit Area when that happened...I also remember seeing "The Fitz" passing by on the Detroit River only the year before...At that time, it was the biggest ship that sailed in the Great Lakes Region!
