Mickey is such a dear dog.
I do not want to hear any bad news.
I mean it, Jimbo dearest, and give all my love to Mickey - from Boris too - he would never consider an elder doggie as a competition - so he behaves surprisingly nice to such sweeties.
And he likes Mickey anyway !

Well I can only dream of Boris reaching the age of anything 10+.
Too big - in bones and body mass ...

Mickey is so sweet looking, trusty, loyal and loving. I just don't get how people can hurt animals they are the true innocents. I know how you feel, I had a cat I loved then one day I came home and found her dead she had been poisoned by some nasty neighbor who didn't like cats. I just don't understand the type of people who can do that it's like they live on another planet then me...maybe it's called cruel

Old Forrest is losing his hearing too JimboB. Well, either that or he has chosen to quit paying attention to me. Nice shot of your Buddy. They truly are one of the family. I see a lot of wisdom in those eyes. He has probably taught you a lot.

He looks like my kind of Dog.
Reminds me of my Old Dog Timex. May he rest in K-9 Heaven.
He lived to be 17. He took a Lickin and just kept Tickin.
He was deaf, blind in one eye and had a hair lip.
I can still here him bark some nights. Marf, Marf, Marf!
Makes my eyes leak just to think of him.
I'm sure you cherish every moment with Mickey and so does he with you.

Mickey is a fine lookin' dog Jim, he's your good buddy too I can tell. Uhhh..... if you'd like me to shoot your neighbor I'd be glad to oblige. One thing I can't tolerate is cruelty to animals......especially a good ol' dog like Mickey.....and if you think I'm kiddin'................I'M NOT !!! :) Print this off and mail it to your neighbor. :)

If he had a problem he should have confronted you instead of shooting your beloved pet. Just don't get why and how people act the way the way they do. My sweetheart is my 18 year old cat. Great portrait JimBob, lots of lovely warmth in his coat and you really caught his personality. He looks like he's saying 'oh not the camera again Dad!'.

I know the saying to be very true "Dogs are mans best friend" I have loved a lot of dogs in my day, and miss the one that have past. I hope your neighbor will someday get what he gave. I know that sounds terrible but I can't stand cruelty to animals. I love your portrait of Mickey, take good care of each other.

Mickey looks alot like my Golden Cody. A really good old boy!!!
He passed away a few months ago at the wonderfully old age of 15. Miss him every day. You have brought more then a few tears to my eyes today.
