Nice perspective, Jimbob. I guess we are into posting old things, you and I. lol I like the arches in this. It reminds me of the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, but that one you can still ambulate. The water and sky look so fine here too.
Well taken JimboB, cool bridge ... Fit for Framing .. Thanks for the link, wonder what the area Indians felt having the Roche de Boeuf, the Indian council rock partially destroyed.....
I think I like the name Ohio Electric Railroad Bridge better. Great wide angle view of the whole bridge over the neat looking rippling river..nice work Jimbob!
A very old railway bridge which you have photographed very well. I like the angle and the light in the picture. And thanks for the information on the bridge.Good work Jim.

I think Al Jolson used to sing about that river and bridge. Oh Maumee, how I love, how I love you Maumee.
The textures are really good. It seems I have seen this bridge pre FDR. Excellent post JimboB.
It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
Wow that is one ruined bridge! I love the way it's crumbled in the middle.... I kind of know that feeling ;-) Lovely combination of colours and textures in this Jim.
Hey Jim!
Kinda remind me of the really old Aqua ducts in Spain! They had this same design. Great Fall colors in the background and textures in the river!

"There ain't no rest for the wicked...
Money don't grow on trees...
We got bills to pay...
We got mouths to feed...
There ain't nothing in this world for free, yeah...
Oh no,
we can't slow down,
And we can't hold back,
Though we know we wish we could...
I know there ain't no rest for the wicked...
Until we close our eyes for good..." - CAGE THE ELEPHANT Visit Jhihmoac's Gallery
