I just confused them with horse chestnuts, Jim! Or what we call "conkers". The similarity is striking. Best of luck in the contest.

Otherwise known over here as 'Conkers'...
They are from the Horse Chestnut tree here...there is also the 'sweet chestnut'...which is what you 'roast' on a brazier!

Very nice job, Jim! Like the dark background. Also glad you named it, I may not have recognized what they were. Not to be cantankerous but I didn't know what a buckeye was until LSU beat them for the national title of couple years ago. But seriously, good luck in the contest!!
