The composition on this shot is flawless, Jimbob. Love the detail work and the colors. The sky could use a few of Biffo's gulls to liven things up, but other than a rather bland sky, the shot is excellent.
I do have a question that you probably can't answer. Why are there what appears to be spikes protruding from the concrete rip rap? Are they trying to make sure that you don't land your helicopter there? Just seems weird to me.

I like the light lavender mixing in with the soft blues. Those colors contrasts well with the red of the lighthouse.
