Jimbob, you say that this is not up in the Arctic, but I think I can see Santa's workshop off to the right!!! It looks way too cold for my old body to be out in so I salute you and this neat pic.
Boris would not hesitate a second and his age in human terms is well over 80! Tomorrow is the day when he turns 11 [just to remind some of you LOL] You do not suppose, agent SAJ, that you would hide them wires so easily from us, two top agents! LOL I love this pure & sheer chill. On my desktop - waiting to serve as DT during summer! SAM & SAAB
This is a magnificent composition, JimboB. Some of the chunks of ice looks like Tombstones. You chose a great angle for this beauty. Kudos to the man who walks on .............ice.
This is a great shot Jimbob!!! You were able to capture a spectular image and by walking on Lake Erie - how cool is that!!! This image is so awesome because it was created by nature. Excellent!!!
I expect a polar bear to come over the ridge into the shot Jim - mighty cold looking but still beautiful (not an easy thing to say at this point in the winter!)
But for the hint of distant trees to the right centre portion of the image this indeed could easily pass as the Arctic or Antarctic...very barren, cold, and icy...great angle and shot, Jim.
Splendid capture again mate!
