I probably go up by the lighthouse more than any place in Ohio. This one is for Lyn's B/W Challenge.

When you see a local viewpoint each day...we sometimes forget that it is so photo-graphical!...

Always a welcome post this Marblehead!...each one is different too!..

If I had a lighthouse by the lake, I would go there often as well JimboB.
We have a pump house at the lake by the golf course but it's lacking that certain pizazz.
B/W suits this one.

This really is very impressive Jimbob. The monotones show all the textures and forms to great advantage. Composition is spot-on as well.
I am delighted to add it to the BWC :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The sky beyond the lighthouse looks beautiful and of course, the lighthouse always looks beautiful JimBob. A friend recently sent me an email with the ten most wonderful tourist attractions in Ohio and this was there in the top ten - I thought of You and all the wonderful photos You have shared with us during the past years. It looks wonderful in b&w.

I can see why it draws you Jim - with the water at hand it's a natural - good one for the BWC.

From this angle it looks like it's ready to fall over. Better get some braces up on the other side. Good composition of the scene and a great b/w presentation, Jimbob.
