My slogan I think Pittsburgh should adopt: "Pittsburgh...It's nicer to look at."
I live there and when I go up Mt. Washington (where that photo was shot from) I often think "God this is a beautiful view"...but then I remember how much it sucks here...
I do agree, bassface. I'm still in college though, so it's not as bad for me.
As for the tilt, I took it with a long exposure with no tripod, so I was limited to things I could set the camera on...explaining the tilt.
i as well live in pittsburgh, and frequent mt.washington, as far as i am concerned yes it is a great picture, however i think the tilt is just the city itself....
yeah agree bout the tilt ... is that the flash reflecting on the window or was the moon just really bright?!?! hehehe beautiful scape though well done!
Ah! Another great Pittsburgh shot. I really love these Pittsburgh shots, I wanted to go to school in downtown Pittsburgh for the past 3 or 4 years now, finally in April of 2004 I got to go! Sadly 3 months later for financial reasons I had to leave and move back to CT. My apartment in Pittsburgh had a nice view of the skyline...I miss it so much :o(
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
I went to Mt. Washington and enjoyed this view when I was 4 years old...and I still remember how breathtaking it was....and you helped me enjoy that memory today! The photo is very clear, and night shots are always beautiful...thanks for sharing! God Bless
