This is interesting because until seeing this I had forgotten about the small pyramids surrounding the megaliths at Giza. Also this view shows how close the city of Cairo encroaches upon these monuments. The camel is an extra benefit! Thanks.

A most beautiful post of these pyramids. The camel looks so small by comparison.

wow! I got this in the voting booth and had to come and tell you what a wonderful photograph it is! I think this is the first picture I have seen of pyramids at Caedes! I have a friend living in Egypt at the moment, so I can imagine just what it must be like - she rides a stallion across the desert!! thanks for posting - this is going in my favourites! Patti

Wowie! Fantastic...I really love the colours of this shot; the very yellow sand and the very dark pyramids, an interesting contrast to the usual portrayal of them as very yellow/creamish - Just think what they would have been like when they were a sheer mass of brilliantly polished limestone! Well done!

Hi Joey;
I found this lovely image while looking through the Favorites Gallery of one of the many members. I must say that I first like the subject and secondly how much I like your use of the rule of Thirds and lastly like how well you have handled the contrast issues. One can tell just by looking at it how contrasty the day was and let's just say you have dealt with it masterfully.
A 10 image at the least.

Stunning photograph. Your composition is impeccable. I love the camel in the corner and modern day Cairo on the horizon.
