This is a stunningly beautiful image with great color and composition. May I suggest that you burn or clone out the little light blobs in the upper right corner. I give this a 10 and I hope it becomes a top image for awhile. Great job.
Russ
Tks Liz, Alicia, Sally and Russ. I am flattered this is doing so well. Russ, you are right, wish I had noticed that before, I worked on so many images that sometimes details pass you by.

Great close-up June. Ok, what are you doing different? Did you get a new toy? Tripod perhaps? What is your secret? I agree with Russ about the cloney work...really a minor detail though with your skill. Good eye, love the water:-)
LOL Darryl, I have already cloned that part out, but no sense in reposting and losing all my voters, lol.
I adjusted my aperture settings and I think that has helped. We shall see. And I have used a black velvet backdrop to bring out the flower more.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Hi June, this is just beautiful!! What else can I say? This is my favorite and I love the color, so soft and precious! I gave it a big, big 10!!!! Pretty coooooooool! Love, Mairlyn
Hi Junebug, just wanted to let you know how much I liked this shot. I loved the color, clarity, contrast, & I guess the cut too, just like any other gorgeous diamond !! Well done !!
Congrats on TNI and the bright new star! What a beautiful composition of this soft & delicate flower. The drops of water add just the right extra touch! Kudo's my friend :))
Lovely Flowers and photo, June.
i think you could make it even better with a little adjustment in photoshop.
perhaps the magic wand tool set to 30, and select all the black background, and darken it a bit, because there are some whitish arifacts at the bottom right or you could clone them out. then if you got to Enhance/Hue saturation/ and adjust the master channel to about 20, and then the red channel and yellow a bit too, until its just right. then maybe sharpening, amount 20% radius 3.5 threshold4. (photoshop 2.0)
amazing what you can get out of post processing. :)
i really like this photo.
Tks Philip, I will work on trying that out! Tks for the teaching sessions. I only wish others wanted to help this way. I have a few who have been generous with tips over this year and I thrive on new ideas and things to learn!
