WOWZER!! this is absolutely a glorious shot. WISH my Nikon would take this kind of Macro..but nope...think I'll trade it in...sheesh...this is GORGEOUS june..
This is really lovely! I like especially the bright yellow center, it looks as if the sun is coming through, and the way the yellow fades to purple and blue. Just awesome, already on my desktop and into my favorites!
Hi June, WOW, do I love this one!! Dynamic in presentation! Clarity is perfect and your angling is well chosen, a fine job and high marks from me and a nice home in my favs! Again, good luck to a very gracious friend Mimi! Sincerely, Marilyn
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
This corner of the earth is like me in many ways. I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play. On the face of this I'm blessed when the sunlight comes for free. I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me.

I love the detail you captured here, June. The stamens really jump out at you, and the way you set them up to disappear into the corner of the frame is nice. If I were a bug, my thoughts would definitely turn to pollen!
The way all the colors blend, the sweep of the Stamens and Petals, the VIBRANT colors and the perfect composition all come together to make this an image any top professional would be proud to have in their portfolio. a 10 by me, in my favorites and on my desktop.
