I removed the noisy background from this image and moved it to a black one. I hope it is appealing to everyone? I love how you can see that some bee has been very busy making a mess on this flower! JuneBug

Wonderful shot June. The dof is pretty cool and the whole flower looks so neat. Maybe its a result of ur noice reduction but it works well. And I like the pitch black background.

Hi Junie Gem, this flower is simply strikingly beautiful! You have filled the screen with purple loveliness. The center of it's beauty is as clear as a bell! Of course, most of all, the angle in which this shot was taken interests me the most! I love this most unusual approach taken, as it lends personality and character to it's already existing 'flair'! Amazing shot! I got it in VB and gave it a 10 which is something I do very rarely. Actually I think this is the first flower ever that got a 10 out of me! It's absolutely perfect as far as I can tell. The focus is right where it's supposed to be with petals in front and at the back slightly blured, the colours are fantastic, the contrast between the flower and the black background excellent and the composition likewise. The next time someone posts a flower in dead centre of the shot, they should be linked to this one to show them how it's really supposed to be done!
