I definately like the silhouette action you have going on, and the colors are just gorgeous. On the flip-side, it isn't super sharp. I would recommend trying faster shutter speeds with sharper focus, also cleaning the lens might help (just be careful). Other than that, this looks like the cover of a photography magazine. Excellent job!

The color behind the horses is spectacular and I love how is bounces off of their chests. The silhoutte works so well here and your timing was impeccable. Well done :)
Great shot. I love the silhouettes and the sunset in the background. Children whom I have shown this photo to ( kids 7-10) who love horses, loved this shot as well.
Not the easiest shot in the world. Capturing the "moment" was a gift from God. There is some subtle detail in this photo that I like. The teeth of the horse on the right are bared and if one looks, it can be readily seen. On the other horse, the white spot of his eyeball shows up readily. Truly, the wild and free atmosphere of this composition is worthy of display. Good job.

This is just lovely!! I grew up in South Dakota and so I had a deep love for horses instilled in me. The free spirits that they are makes me just love them so much. Where we live now, where we recently moved to, we lease out part of our land to people who own horses but have no place to keep them, so I get to see them each day. This is a lovely photo...such soft colours and then the semi silhouette of the horses themselves, well its gorgeous!! Thx...V
This is really wonderful... above, someone complained about the shot being blurry or something, but I think it just adds to the magical/mystical quality of this shot. I am simply in awe of your ability to capture this moment... I would have been too stunned by the beauty of the horses against the sunset to even pick up my camera! Thanks for sharing this wonderful moment with us. :-)
Was browsing through the animal photography post and came across this one just had to tell you what a dynamite capture it is. Perfect in every way and a keeper for me. I'm so glad you put it out here cause somehow I missed it. Anita
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

A friend of mine works in a camera store. The other day a very
confused looking woman approached the counter and handed my friend
a camera. She said "I took pictures, but I forgot to have film in
the camera. Can you please get them out of the camera for me?"
