Mick, it looks and feels as if you have painted a photograph!
The quality of the light is amazing, never seen anything like this.
Absolutely brilliant, 10!
Good luck with this winner,
Paul

Hi Mick, this is a lovely photo with all of it's soft golden hues of sunlight, the tender blues of the sky, all adding their interest! And blended at last with the rich greens of those rolling hills and dales presents, a splendid piece of photogaphy! I am also impressed with the beautiful flecks of white miniature dwellings, very interesting and very beautiful Mick, Sincerely, Marilyn

What is up with that "not enough votes" for a c-index????? This is stunning. I love the patchwork colors of the fields, the sky is outrageous, and the ruins are wonderfully intriguing! I really don't know how to describe the feeling it gives me, but it's good. Pretty well said up above from the others!

This is just breathtaking Mick! What a magnificant shot! I just had the pleasure of giving it a well deserved '10' in the voting booth! If I didn't know better, I'd swear it was a painting! Vicky

Great job you did with this photo. The architecture of the buildings is lovely. The lighting is well done and such a clarity to it. The clouds have an interesting formation. Nice shadows captured towards the foreground and on the buildings. This is a beautiful dreamy image!

Having walked thru this area on a trip to the UK I can say for sure you've honoured the feel of the landscape with this photo. Excellent work. (Gets me hankering after another trip to see it all again.)

Hi! I haven't been online in a very long time and just looked at this pic again (it's saved in my favorites). It means even more to me since both of my sons work in a hard rock gold mine. Plus, they have celtic blood. Still a haunting and stunning photo!
