This picture was taken right next door to where I live....As you can see it is a secluded rural hideaway, nestled in a peaceful hollow with beautiful golden gorse highlighting the Cornish hedges. Uniquely Cornish, surrounded by rolling countryside, it is an idyllic place to relax and unwind.

It seems to me it is going to rain... The light is fading away however the fields and bushes still didn't loose all the intensity of color yet. Great mood inspiring and picturesque panorama.

Wow, this is SO beautiful. I am envious indeed! It is so picture-perfect, that it is almost looks like a painting...
It reminds me of Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" (the books, not the movie) - this is as beautiful and idyllic as Tolkien made Middle Earth out to be in his orignal books.
Thanks for sharing this, and please, submit more!!

Hi Mick, in this image, I see a brilliance, a magnificent richness of nature's finest display, and rendered by a very talented photographic artist indeed! One would be proud to present such a prestigious memory to behold! It is lovely Mick, and to live in or near such glory, is a gift to treasure, and I am sure you do! Your imagery is almost pure with beauty! Words are inadequate to describe your work!! Very lovely, and very well done! Sincerely, Marilyn

This is a beautiful image. Very colourful and alive. Just one thing (not a criticism): it kind of makes me sneez!!! It reminds me so much of the allergy season, which says how vivid your image is.

da skeusenn, Mick. Cornwall is one of my favorite places in the old county. I hate Gorse but I play golf so my feelings are understandable. I like the way the foreground frames the image.

Wow Mick, what a stunning view. I love the lighting on this, highlighting the yellow of the gorse. I once ate a load of gorse pods coz my "friend" told me they were special peas lol. Her mother made us drink so much water coz she said that we would get gorse bushes growing in our stomachs lol. I love Cornwall, and your stunning shots remind me why. Thank you for sharing your view.
