This old bridge spans the River Dee near Braemar, Scotland.... Originally built for military access it now provides the inspiration for many paintings and photographs.... Many visitors take advantage of quiet walks along the banks of the river amid a scene of exquisite beauty...Pleases enjoy.

I am not surprised it is so popular - it is a lovely scene. Captured by you to perfection. I love the subdued glow it has. Excellent post Mick.

Superb mate....love the sepia like toning! even tho' it still has it's colour!....I think, I once 'dangled' my feet over this bridge!....memory plays tricks at my age you know?
Like a gallery painting....someone is bound to buy this for a few bob!......(halfers, mind?)

Not hard to understand the "inspiration" this bridge brings about. You're wonderful capture of the scene makes that rather obvious. I particularly like the perspective here ... I seem to be almost floor level peeking over those bolders. As always Mick ... Beautiful scene, Nicely composed and Artfully presented.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Well, once again, super lighting in this composition. It almost looks likea black and white with a little color put back into it. Lovely.

What a stunning picture Mick, I love the colours and the setting. I can also see a face in the first highlighted rock. Another masterpiece.

This photo captures a rare feeling of a place that your trying to remember in your minds eye, maybe more stunning then it actually was, but the mood is well expressed.
