THANKYOU FOR THE RAINBOW

All around me was darkness... Then I felt your hand You turned me to another direction... And I saw the light and more... I saw a rainbow Cut through the darkness.... Bringing to me It's message of hope.... I knew that without your light The rainbow wouldn't be there.... So I want to thank you now for the rainbow For even out of the rain Can come something beautiful And even out of the darkness of despair Can come hope and light...... Author: Virginia Anne Weathers.... Please enjoy..............

A nice bit of verse, Mick, and a wonderful photo! I love the composition with the old building set in the sunlight beneath that vibrant rainbow. Add a dramatic sky, and you've got a winner! Great job!

Rainbows are not that easy to capture, at least not to where they are rich in color but you BAGGED this baby. Great work.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

An extraordinarily captivating photo! The colors are strong yet natural and the rainbow stands out dramatically against the dark clouds. I think the cropping on top creates a bit of an "Eek!" effect because the cropping blade chopped so dangerously close to the rainbow. Other than that it's genuinely wonderful.

I don't know how I missed this first class rainbow view and the beautiful words that go with it. Amazing golden light shining on the castle and the dark sky above making the rainbow stand out like a gem with all it's marvelous mix of colors. I guess you can call this one "every color under the rainbow" Superb Mick!
