During an early morning walk I came upon these horses running down a dusty dirt track... It was a great opportunity to take a few photos as they ran towards me….Not in the picture, a young lady next to me made sure they went in through the open gate to the right of the picture…With manes and tails flying and the thunderous noise of their hooves looking through the lens of the camera it was quite scarey to see them coming towards me..Please enjoy

I can almost taste the dust, Mick. The light filtering through the dust has a unique look. Horse look like individuals when in a line. Sheep look like, well ................sheep.
Good post.

I love how you manage to capture so much movement in your images! The dust flying and the perspective of the horses disappearing into the shot are as always, perfection. Another stunner! I am so in awe of your talent :)

What a fantastic up close POV of these horses. The dust that the horses are kicking up really show the power and movement of the horses.

I do enjoy watching the horses of every color and type kicking up yellow dust running along the trail while others went to the high ridge. I do believe
it's true the title "THUNDEROUS HOOVES" It must have been so exciting and loud for you to watch it in person Mick!

You sure have some great horse photos, dude. Most of the time my horse shots show them either with their heads down, eating, or they're walking right towards me, looking for a treat (you see a trend here, eh?). But you seem to be able to get angles that no one else does. My sister is going to love this one, too. Thanks for submitting it and allowing me to look good when I send it to her.
